La CornueRepair Miami

Miami-Dade · Broward · Palm Beach

Where we repair La Cornue cooking equipment across South Florida.

59 places, three counties, one trade. Every one of them has its own page with what the equipment is like there and how the access works — because a tower on the ocean and a house on a canal are different visits before anyone opens a unit.

  • 38 cities and towns
  • 21 neighborhoods with their own page
  • 3 counties covered end to end
  • from $95 diagnostic, credited to the repair

Book a diagnostic visit

Your model number and a line about what it is doing is enough to get started. We will confirm the earliest slot we can genuinely keep.

  • Diagnostic from $95, credited toward the repair when you go ahead
  • The work and the price in writing before anything is opened
  • A warranty on our workmanship
  • Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties
  1. 01 You tell us the model and what the unit is doing. A photo of the display helps.
  2. 02 We come back with the earliest slot we can genuinely keep, not the earliest one that sounds good.
  3. 03 Diagnosis on site, then the scope and the price in writing before anything is opened.

The booking form is taking longer than it should. Call (305) 614-3699 and we will book the visit with you.

Why the address changes the visit

The same repair is a different appointment on the beach and in the suburbs.

Salt air corrodes condenser coils and fan motors years ahead of schedule, so a unit two blocks from the ocean needs the condenser looked at long before an identical one inland does. Storm season adds its own pattern: units that will not restart after an outage, and control boards that took the surge.

Access changes just as much. A high-rise means a service elevator window and a building that decides when work happens; a gated community means clearance arranged before the appointment rather than at the gate; an island means a ferry and a van packed for one trip. We ask about all of it when you book, which is why the visit tends to finish in one.

What we ask when you book

Four things that let us finish in one visit

None of them take long to answer, and together they decide what rides in the van.

The unit

  • Model number from the plate inside the door
  • A photo of the display if there is a code
  • Whether there is more than one unit

The building

  • High-rise: service elevator and loading times
  • Gated: how visitors are cleared
  • Island: which causeway or ferry

The kitchen

  • Whether the unit is paneled to match cabinetry
  • How much clearance there is at the grille
  • Whether it has ever been pulled out before

The symptom

  • What it is doing, in your own words
  • When it started, and after what
  • Whether one zone or the whole cabinet

Outside the list?

The list is where we have pages, not where we will drive.

We cover Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach end to end. The places above are the ones with a page of their own because people search for them by name — that is a publishing decision, not a boundary.

If your town is not on it, call and say where you are. If it is a drive we cannot make the same week, we will tell you that on the phone rather than after you have waited for a slot.

Call (305) 614-3699, or describe the unit in the form above.

Before you book

Questions about where we work

Do you charge more to come out to the beach or an island?

The diagnostic starts at the same figure across the three counties. What changes with distance and access is how quickly we can get there and how we plan the visit — a ferry or a gated community is scheduled rather than fitted in. If anything about your address changes the cost, you hear it before we come out, not after.

How soon can someone come out?

Tell us the model number and what the unit is doing and we will give you the earliest slot we can genuinely keep. In a high-rise the building often decides that more than we do, which is why we ask about the service elevator when you book.

Do you cover Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton as well as Miami?

Yes. Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, end to end. Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Jupiter and the communities around them all have pages of their own on this site.

My building has strict rules about contractors. Is that a problem?

No, and it is worth telling us at the start. Certificates of insurance, approved hours and elevator reservations are routine in the buildings we work in; sorting them before the appointment is the difference between one visit and two.

Why does a neighborhood have its own page?

Because people search that way — "repair in Brickell" rather than "repair in Miami" — and because the equipment and the access genuinely differ between a downtown tower and a house a few miles away. A neighborhood page says which city it belongs to and links to it.

In more detail

What working across three counties actually involves

The climate is part of the diagnosis

Salt air is what shortens the life of this equipment here, and on a range it goes for the metal you can see. Within a few blocks of the water the brass rails, the trim and the knurled knobs start to bloom under their lacquer, hinge pins and door springs stiffen, and the steel screws holding an enameled panel seize into their threads long before anything stops working. Humidity does the rest: a burner running rich in damp air sooties its own ports, and an igniter electrode that would stay dry inland carries a film here that is enough to stop it sparking. None of that is a broken part yet, which is why an annual visit on this make is worth more than it is almost anywhere else in the country.

Storm season has its own pattern

An outage costs the electric half of these appliances rather than the gas half. What comes back afterwards is an induction generator that will not start, a multifunction oven control that took the surge, a hood blower running on one speed, and — on a dual-fuel range — an oven whose gas side lights by hand while its electric broiler is simply dead. The gas top will still light with a match through all of it, and that is exactly why people wait. It is worth checking in the same week rather than the same season: half an appliance working is quieter about it than none of it.

Access decides the appointment as much as the repair

  • A high-rise means a service elevator window, a loading bay and hours when contractors may work
  • A gated community means clearance arranged before the visit rather than at the gate
  • An island means a causeway or a ferry, and a van packed for one trip rather than two
  • A historic house often means paneled doors that have to come off and go back true

How the list above is put together

59 places have a page of their own because people search for them by name — 38 cities and towns, and 21 neighborhoods that are part of a city and say so. That is a publishing decision, not a boundary: we cover Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach end to end. If your town is not listed, call and say where you are, and we will tell you honestly whether we can be there this week.

Tell us where you are and what the unit is doing.

We will confirm the earliest slot we can genuinely keep, and you will have a firm price before anything is opened.
